Firefox 3 - a vintage edition of Mozilla's browser
This version of Firefox is very old and not recommended for normal use. If you'd like to download the standard version of Firefox, please click here.
Mozilla Firefox 3.6 brought a handful of new features to this already excellent web browser.
First of all, the interface in Mozilla Firefox 3 is now much easier to customize. This version offers seamless integration with Personas, Mozilla's theme gallery for Firefox, which lets you apply new Firefox themes to your browser with a single mouse click. What's more, you can try them on the browser before actually applying them, just by hovering your mouse over the theme's name.
Another impressive new feature in Mozilla Firefox 3 is the native support for watching videos in full screen – as long as they've got the HTML5 'video' tag. Simply right click on the video and select the "Full screen" mode to turn the browser into a media player. Also, Mozilla Firefox 3 has released a new online service called Plugin Check, which helps you check for new updates for your plugins – quite handy, especially if you're as addicted to Mozilla Firefox 3 addons as I am!
Regarding efficiency and stability, the new Mozilla Firefox 3 includes the latest version of the Gecko engine and has improved Java performance. These two elements are meant to provide a faster web browsing – which has been its weakest point of late. While I haven't tested the final version long enough, I have to say I've been using the betas and release candidates for a while, and I'm quite happy with the program's response.
In all, the new features included in Mozilla Firefox 3 may not be as many or as spectacular as other releases, but they do provide a better user experience in terms of usability, customization and performance.
Mozilla Firefox 3 continues its steady development and adds interesting new features and improvements in its latest version.

A fantastic product that is fast, safe and secure. (Just like superbird)..
Just as fantastic as superbird except for one little feature - the fonts it uses are a tad too small, which is the only reason I didn't give it 10 outta ten, I would have otherwise. Just like superbird, it still is among the safest browsers despite of being horribly popular. It is the ultimate mainstream non-mainstream thing and so it has almost (but not really!!!) lost the beauty of it by being so well known. I reckon even hackers have heard of it by now. Yet, it somehow manages to still be secure, thankfully. It is one of the coolest products, it offers so many options, you are going to love it. Thanks to firefox, you can remain well-organised, fast, efficient and safe just like this browser, if you stick to it! Also, your privacy is totally being respected by firefox. Firefox is a real fox! Totally awesome!!! More

Firefox, Eh?.
It really is a bad version. But I just hope version 4 will be good. So, Until then, I advise people to use Opera and Internet Download Manager. (At least version 4 looks good. At its stable release, we will find out just how good it is.)
Pros:
Good (For extensions especially).
Doesn't load the full page sometimes (Especially when you your mail).
Integrates with all download managers.
Cons:
Frequent Crashes.
Even though only a single process, it uses up the CPU resources (especially when you use add-ons, which is the only reason people use firefox!) More

Still The Best Overall Browser [Updated Review].
I have updated by ratings to factor in 5 things. Out of the box, Security, Customization, Add-ons and Appearance. The reason I chose these factors is because these are what cater to the average user. The average user isn't going to notice the speed difference nor are they going to care about web standards. They just want a browser that works for their needs and this is what my tests aim to do is find the best browser that suites anyone's needs.Firefox leads the war by offer top customizability, the best add-ons and best Appearace (with different types of themes and personas). It's only average when it comes to security and out of the box solutions. The only downsides to Firefox involves it's out of the box and security solutions even with ways to enhance it some might want a more simpler solution without needing to "add to it". It also can crash from time to time.If you want the best browser that offers balance across the board, you can't do better than Firefox. If you want the best out of the box solution you might want to go with Chrome and if security is the main focus then give Opera a try.
Pros:
Highly Customizable
Variety Of Add-ons
Appearance Through Personas And Themes
Cons:
Average Security
Low Out Of The Box Experience
Prone To Crashes From Time To Time More

poor update.
3.6.6 has a dns problem - sites don't always load and you have to refresh - sometimes several times - to get the site open - so much for speed the hey? You get fast broadband then an incompetent release from Mozilla sets you back to the equivalent of dial up. Someone should be docked wages for this.. More
